This parenting group helps parents to build protective factors, promote deep individual self-reflection and provide peer-to-peer learning. Parent Cafés are based on the principles of adult learning and family support.
Active Parenting & Parenting 0 to 5
Kids Free to Grow uses the Active Parenting curriculum for most of our community based parenting programs. Held in a group settings, these Active Parenting Programs are designed to teach parents of children aged 0-5 to build their parenting skills. The programs emphasize cooperation, self esteem, and responsibility and promote non-violent discipline.
Nurturing Parenting Program
This parenting program is held in a group setting in which parent(s) or caregiver(s) learn and develop skills such as empathy, self worth, empowerment, roles & expectations plus discipline with dignity.
1,2,3 Magic offers parents and caregivers alike a simple and gentle-but-firm approach to managing the behavior of 2 to 12-year olds. Topic areas covered include: positive child discipline, self-esteem, temper tantrums, managing difficult behavior, and understanding ADHD.
