SUMMARY:Virtual Nurturing Parenting; Through Recovery
DESCRIPTION:The Nurturing parenting program is our evidence based\, trauma informed\, family centered curriculum approved by the Maine Children’s trust. Specifically\, the Through Recovery program is the curriculum branch commonly administered alongside a 12-step program\, and promotes mutuality\, authenticity\, and empathy. The program explores the effects of substance use on themselves and their families\, identifying childhood experiences\, strengths\, and fears\, to promote and strengthen their recovery. We build nurturing skills through a variety of activities and techniques\, examining the parallels of their own experiences and their children’s. \nPlease submit your registration for the program before the class start time.
