Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Council of York County Announces the 2016 Summer Institute

A one-day Professional Training

Our one day training will have an early morning session on Safe Sleep. We’ll present the latest Safe Sleep information as it pertains to infants, children and adults. Hear what the experts say about the importance of sleep throughout life.

Then join us for the SPECIAL Viewing of the award winning documentary film Paper Tigers

Followed by a guided panel and audience discussion of the film’s message.

Paper Tigers follows a year in the life of an alternative high school in Walla Walla, WA, that has radically changed its approach to disciplining its students, and in the process has become a promising model for how to break the cycles of poverty, violence and disease that affect families.
